A complex investigation will be needed, according to Europol, to identify those responsible for the cyber attack last Friday. Suspicion of responsibility by the NSA, the US National Security Agency, takes over. Edouard Snowden, a former CIA and NSA computer scientist, does not hesitate to point at the NSA as responsible for cyberattack worldwide, which left more than 200,000 victims in 150 countries. The European Center for the Fight against Cybercrime (EC3) was created in January 2013 because cyberspace has become one of the most important areas of investigation for Europol: fraudulent credit card transactions on the Internet, online pedophilia, hacking, fraud, extortion, trojans, computer worms, spyware, and malicious software like Wanna Cry, which triggered a colossal hacking operation on Friday May 12. Coincidentally, Donald Trump had signed a decree last Thursday with the purpose to spurring cyberprotection in his country.
